Artifacts

This is one of my most famous pieces. I have preformed this is many music halls and it has been composed by many artist around the world. [http://edgeofthewest.wordpress.com/2008/09/26/new-englands-god/, and William Billings. Chester. 1975. Photograph. The Edge of the American West]

This photo is a portrait of me during the nineteenth century. People know me as being the man with a deformed leg, lazy eye, a harsh voice, and a lame leg. My appearance may not have been the best but my passion for music was strong. [http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=6686735, and John Griffith. William Portrait . 1970. Photograph. 1. This might or might not be at interest to you M. Blillings, but the wind ensemble at SCPA has performed a band variation of this incredible piece!
